Other Indian Language Films

Here's the list of films of Salil in other Indian languages. I tried my best to get the names right, but I may not have spelled them correctly, and I do not have the release dates for some of them. If anyone out there can check this out, I would really appreciate it.

Uyir (1971 - TVS productions) was Salilda's first foray into Tamil films. I have no idea why the director of this film used Salilda only for the background music and let the obscure Ramana Sridhar compose the songs. Saravanan Natarajan of Dubai sent me details of this film: Uyir had actors like Muthuraman, Sarojadevi, Lakshmi, Nagesh and Balaji. Story, dialogues and direction by P.R.Somu. BGM (or Re-recording as it was then known) was by Salilda. Saravanan also wrote an excellent article on Salilda's Tamil film songs.
