Thomasleeha (1975) is a remarkable work in Salil Chowdhury�s Malayalam repertoire. All songs originate from Salil�s Bengali compositions, yet the Malayalam versions carry refreshingly different orchestral treatments.

A high-quality DVD release of the film is now available. A fourth song appears in the film's ending, but it was not composed by Salil.

A rare 1977 gramophone record was issued under the title St. Thomas, making the soundtrack a valuable collector�s item.
