A very rare Salil score. For a long time even collectors were unaware of this Malayalam album. The soundtrack contains four excellent compositions, sung by K. J. Yesudas and Sunanda.

The first song "Yamam Mohana Yamam" includes a beautiful humming introduction by Antara Chowdhury, although she did not get a full song here�despite singing the original Bengali version in 1990.

This is possibly the first Malayalam film in which Salil used the voice of Sunanda, who performed the song "Manju Thullikal" with an exceptionally charming tonal quality.

Thamburan is one of the rarest entries in Salil Chowdhury�s Malayalam discography. It surfaced much later among collectors, which explains its lesser-known status despite its sublime musical quality.

The songs maintain Salil�s unmistakable harmonic signature, with Yesudas rendering them with extraordinary control and emotional warmth.

Sunanda�s "Manju Thullikal" is often praised for its freshness and remarkable melodic phrasing � a beautiful addition to Salil's late-era works.
