“Rajnigandhaa” (1974) marks one of the finest Lata–Mukesh collaborations under Salil’s baton.

“Rajnigandhaa phool tumhaare” (RJ2) remains a timeless masterpiece admired for its elegant melodic structure and Salil’s signature orchestral layering. It was one of Salil’s personal favourites.

“Kai baar yoon bhi dekhaa hai” (RJ1) is lyrical, introspective, and infused with warmth. Salil was so fond of this melody that he created multiple Bengali versions over the years.
