Hamaari Shaadi aired on television in the early 1990s. Though only two songs appear, both are impressively arranged and mark a rare collaboration where **Sanjoy Chowdhury** and **Salil Chowdhury** share music credit.

The songs are Hindi adaptations of Salil’s own 1988 Bengali pieces sung originally by Antara Chowdhury. Salil wrote the Bengali lyrics under the pseudonym **“Sudarshan”**. Kumar Sanu delivers surprisingly strong performances in both versions.
